Best work of Vincent van Gogh

Looking at these painting really give me the sense of peace and quietness which is really hard to find in this busy world of ours. I've seen many painting but not many painters can translate what he saw to what he wants  the painting to become.

Congrats to Vincent  van Gogh for this masterpiece and for his contribution in the name of art. This famous painter was born in Netherlands -30th of March , 1853 and died on 29 July, 1890 . How i wish could own only one of those painting and enjoy looking at it while sipping a cup of cappuccino...lol

Biography of Affandi

Well, what can i say. Some painters, paints what they see and feels. But some paint using their mind and heart. Affandi is the man behind this famous art work.

This famous maestro was born in Cirbon, Jawa Barat in 1907. His work is always hunt  down by collectors all around the world . It's so famous that it is sad to hear fake painting seems to be popping up here and there . Affandi taught painting and sculpture at the Indonesia Academy of Fine Arts in Yogyakarta. He held many solo and group exhibitions  (mostly in Europe) with a title of Grand Maestro in Florence, Italy. A side from that Affandi have been well known for his brilliance in mixing colors and filling up canvas with it. Some says that " you are not a real collector if you don't have Affand's work".He also founded the "Community Artist" and the "People's Artist' organization in 1946 and 1947.. ...well i 'll be happy to own any painting, from any famous painter.....more to come stay tune.

Biography of Basuki (Basoeki) Abdullah

Wow, how i would love to have this two master piece hanging in my living room.  Thinking of it alone can make me drool. Who won't right ? cause this is from the famous Basuki (Basoeki) Abdullah. His painting can be found in many museum and galleries and some are not for sale.
Basoeki Abdullah was born in Surakarta, Indonesia in the year 1915. Painting have always been part of his childhood days as his father  Abdullah Soerjo Soebroto is also a painter.Basoeki Abdullah studied art for two years at the Academia Voor Beeldende Kunsten in the Netherland. He traveled to many countries (mostly Europe) and cities after his graduation, but between 1962-1976 he lived in Thailand.There he became the painter for the royal family. Later he returned to Indonesia and participated in numerous solo and group exhibition  and is consider one of Indonesian finest master. How i would love getting my portrait done by him , but then again can i afford him ?
